Management Development Institute (MDI), Murshidabad

MDI ( Management Development Institute ) was established in 2014. MDI is the private institute which is located in Murshidabad. On October 31, 2010, the Honorable Union Minister of Finance, Govt. of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, laid the foundation stone in Jangipur, Murshidabad, West Bengal.

MDI Murshidabad started their Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) in 2014.It was remembered on August 24, 2014, when the then President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, gave an inspiring speech to our first group of PGPM students. After that, Shri Arun Jaitley, the Hon’ble Minister of Finance, Defense, and Corporate Affairs for the Government of India, talked about it. Indians. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), which is based in New Delhi, has approved MDIM’s PGPM. It is a full time institute.

The MDIM placement process, which is mostly driven by the students, starts with a courtesy call to the companies that have already been chosen. This gets the whole placement process going.

Here is the Process of Placement:

• Through Business Thought Leadership Sessions, Guest Lectures, Live Projects, and other Corporate Forums, members of companies meet with students on campus.

• In the form of CVs, companies get information about students and other important facts.

• Companies hold Pre-Placement Talks to give candidates more information about the roles and positions they are interested in, such as how their careers might grow.

• Companies ask for applications, and the resumes of those who are interested are sent to the companies.

• The people who want to work for the companies will rank them based on the factors that are most important to their growth and opportunities.

  • Companies choose employees through a process that usually includes shortlisting based on CVs, group discussions, and interviews.

MDI Murshidabad Eligibility Criteria:

Here are some point to help the candidates to apply in the admission in MDI, Murshidabad:

• The candidates should be able to show a valid CAT score.

• The candidates must have achieved a minimum  50% or an equivalent CGPA in both grades 10 and 12.The candidate must have at least a three-year Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA in any field from a university in India that was set up by an act of the Central or State legislature or from an educational institution that was set up by an act of Parliament or declared to be a university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or have an equivalent qualification that has been approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India. The candidate must have gone to school for at least three years to get a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent qualification.

• This is after completing 10+2 or an equivalent. Candidates taking the final exam for their Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent exam) and finishing all requirements for their Bachelor’s degree by June 30, 2019 can also apply, but they must show proof of this by October 1, 2019 or they may be asked to leave the programme.

Process Of Selection: 

Candidates who can provide valid CAT scores will be shortlisted based on the information in their application forms and their CAT scores. Then, only the candidates who made the short list will be asked to come to Kolkata, Gurgaon, Bangalore/Mumbai/Chennai/Hyderabad for a group discussion followed by a personal interview.
